ProfitVsProphet (PVP) is a hip-hop artist and lyricist who embodies the duality of life—profit vs. prophet, mania vs. depression, ego vs. soul. With a background in spoken word, battle rap, and songwriting, PVP delivers a powerful mix of raw, aggressive bars and deeply introspective storytelling. His music explores themes of perseverance, faith, and mental health, offering an authentic perspective on struggle and growth.

Now in his fourth year of making music, PVP has built a strong stage presence, performing regularly while developing a year’s worth of content, a merch line, and a headlining show to close out his next album rollout. He makes music that speaks out about his personal battles with mental health issues, addiction, fatherhood, self growth. He does this seamlessly while maintaining his honesty and admitting shamelessly to his faults in order to tell his story and make a real connection with the listener.
